A general overview of the "Values" assessment.
Values describe what individuals feel are important in their ideal work role. This assessment helps students to identify what workplace values they find important and identify the “non-negotiables” that need to be satisfied and successful in a work environment. Assessing an individual's values stems from Dawis and Lofquist’s Theory of Work Adjustment. This theory suggests that individuals with certain characteristics are best suited for jobs that correspond to those same individual characteristics.
