Can I update my 'Privacy' settings?

PeopleGrove strives to give its users full control of their profile and data. Every user profile can be set as private in quick and simple steps.

How to update the 'Privacy' Settings?

1. Once you're logged in, click your profile image in the upper right corner of your screen to open the profile dropdown menu. (Note: In case you do not have a profile picture, you will be able to see a circle with the first letter of your name in the top-right corner.)
   
   
2. From the dropdown menu, click on "My Preferences."
   
   
3. This will take you to the preferences screen which contains multiple settings related to your profile.
   
   
4. On the left sidebar, click on the 'Privacy' menu.
   
   
5. Once the page loads you will be able to see the setting called, "Keep my basic information from appearing on publicly visible web pages."
   
   
6. Simply enable the toggle to set your profile and data as private.

What will this affect?

Once you have toggled this setting, your profile will no longer be accessible on the university's virtual career centers or similar university affiliated platforms.
